I have decided to try my hand at Project 365. The goal is to take 1 photo every day for the entire year. I decided this today but luckily I had photos from the 1st and 2nd. I’ll make an attempt at getting better photos after today.
Or not… I seem to be having technical difficulties with my blog. I can’t get photos to load properly at all. Go figure.
In theory it is a good idea BUT art doesnt like to be mandated or forced. Ok, in truth I am far too lazy to imagine adding one more “have to” to my daily grind. I am considering making a calender, guess I had better get started, January is half over.
I missed your page, photos and that’s a pleasant rarity.
You’re right and I’ve already quit.
It’s funny, but I had the same thought, art doesn’t like to be forced. Maybe if I’d decided on an actual project, like “take a picture of X every day.” But I hadn’t and I realized that once my student teaching starts I am not going to have the time or the inclination. I also don’t want to feel like I’m forced to take a photo and so take something stupid. I take photographs and I don’t need to do this in order to use my camera.
I’ve missed your presence. I’ll make an effort to post here more. I keep meaning to.
